In February, Mama to Mama was proud to be featured on both BBC South East News and BBC Radio Kent. Our team spoke about the 2025 BBC Make a Difference Awards, highlighting how vital community-led initiatives are in supporting local families. We are honored to have our mission recognised on such a wide platform.

In January 2026, Mama to Mama was recognised by Thanet District Council with two Community Champions Awards, including the Care & Compassion Award.  A huge thank you to those who nominated us and to everyone who helps us make a difference every day. We are so proud to be part of such a compassionate community.

We are thrilled to announce that Mama to Mama has won the BBC Radio Kent Make a Difference Award 2025 in the Community category! The award ceremony took place on September 22nd in Canterbury. We are deeply grateful to the anonymous radio listeners who nominated us, and we extend a huge thank you to everyone in the community for your incredible support. This recognition means the world to us and inspires us to continue our work.
